contract with Rethink
In this section, you’ll find everything you need to manage all aspects of your contract quickly and efficiently.
You’ll find guidance around timesheet and expenses submissions, payment schedules, contract renewals and logging holidays and absences.
How to submit timesheets and expenses
At Rethink, we operate a self-bill system for timesheets and invoicing using Evertime.
Log into Evertime here
Timesheets that require submission will be listed showing the week ending date. Once you know the timesheet you are going to complete Click New on the relevant one.
In the notes section add project and date of work completed
a) If on a Daily Rate Enter days as unit 1 = Worked, 0 = Not worked, Half Day = 0.5
b) If on an Hourly Rate then state how many hours worked between 0-24
NB: If you are eligible for overtime or on call etc. and this is not shown to claim please contact your Account Manager so that they can update the system for you to complete.
You have now completed your timesheet. It will now be forwarded onto your Line Manager. You will receive an email once it has been approved.
Managing your contract renewal
Rethink manage renewals of all white-collar contingent workers on assignment across Boots. We manage the end-to-end process to ensure your contract renewal is approved and confirmed ahead of your current end date.

Rethink reach out to your line manager to determine if a contract renewal is availability

If yes, Hiring Manager submits a request for approval

Rethink confirm approval with People Team BP

We will inform you of the renewal once approval confirmed
6.
Where this is a freelance engagement, an IR35 assessment of role will take place via the People Team
7.
Relevant IR35 docs shared with worker and Rethink (Limited Company workers only)
8.
Rethink raise the renewal contract and have this sent out to your umbrella company for signature
9.
The umbrella company raises your assignment in the portal for acceptance and you are able continue to deliver in your role
Compliance and Governance
Maintaining insurance & renewing certifications
At Rethink Group, all limited company, Appendix 1, and LP10 workers must hold valid insurance to work. If you are engaged through an umbrella payroll provider or as a PAYE temp, insurance is not required.
We require up-to-date insurance documents for all relevant workers and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance. While we monitor expiry dates, you must submit updated documents promptly if your policy renews or changes.

Taking some holiday? Let your line manager know the dates you’d like out of the business and, if they approve, you’re good to go.
Illness
If you need to take some time to recover from illness, let your line manager and your Rethink account manager know as soon as possible. Contact your Account Manager here.
